At The RUC we’ve stripped our menu back to what we’ve found most popular favourites and added in a few new items to test your tastebuds. We’re sure our new menu offers something for everyone, at a range of prices suitable to all.
If you’re into sharing food with your mates, go for our To Share options including beef and vegetarian nachos, pork belly with onion rings, and mini pork buns and dumplings with dipping sauce.
Pizzas are a perennial favourite, and the Members Meals offer our valued members hearty options including a deep dish pie, rump steak with chips and salad or chef’s selection curry.
You can sit and enjoy the outdoors with a drink in hand, and if you’re sticking to your new year’s weight loss resolutions, you’ll love our Good Intentions menu including marinated lamb backstrap salad, and New Zealand king salmon fillet.
Of course, what’s a pub without traditional pub food? Our RUC Classics choices include the delicious Portugese chicken burger, New York cheese burger and of course our ever-popular chicken parmigiana and beer battered flat head with chips and salad.
Even the kids will love it. It’s fun, friendly and they can enjoy our kids menu including vegetarian lasagne, sausages with chips and salad, nuggets, and mini fish served with chips and salad. The best part for the kids (maybe not so much for the parents?) is that there’s a free soft drink and ice cream with every kids meal purchased.
Of course all our super specials are for members only BUT membership is only $5 for the whole year so you’ll get that back at your first visit. As Mark Twain says, “part of the secret of a success in life is to eat what you like and let the food fight it out inside”.
