The RUC’s 2026 NRL Tipping Comp is on, and it is open to all members of The RUC.
Entry is $100 per person and includes $75 in RUC Bucks loaded onto your membership card once payment is received. Only one entry is permitted per member. Entry fees must be paid to Anna, Ned or Harry before the start of Round 3 on Thursday 20 March.
The competition runs from Round 1 (Sunday 1 March) through to the final game of Round 27 (Sunday 6 September).

Tips can be edited up until five minutes before the official start time of each game. If no tips are submitted, the away team will be allocated as an automatic selection.
Scoring is odds based. Instead of receiving one point per correct tip, points are awarded according to the odds at kickoff. The member with the highest total points at the end of Round 27 is the winner. If multiple members finish on the same points, the result will be decided by the nominated margin match, being the last game of the round.
Members who achieve a perfect round, in rounds with no more than one bye, will receive a $50 RUC Bucks voucher loaded onto their membership card and two bonus competition points. Draws are not included.
There will also be one Joker Round. Each tipster can nominate one round during the season where their total score for that round is doubled. The Joker selection cannot be changed once the first game of that round has locked out.
Normal Season Prizes
First place receives $1,000.
Second place receives $600.
Third place receives $400.
Finals Tipping Comp
The top four tippers across each of the following blocks will qualify for the Finals Comp:
Rounds 12 to 15
Rounds 16 to 19
Rounds 20 to 23
Rounds 24 to 27
Only one Finals entry is permitted per member. If a member has already qualified, their place will pass to the next eligible tipster in that block.
During the Finals Series, members must tip both the winning team and the correct margin each week. Margin options are Home 1–12, Home 13+, Draw, Away 1–12, Away 13+. Points are awarded for each correct margin selection. The winner is the member with the most points at the end of 80 minutes in the Grand Final. Extra time does not count.
