We’re all going on a summer holiday…

Well, most of us are, in some form or another. What’s in it for you this year? Will it be heading to the coast? An overseas trip maybe? Or perhaps you’re hanging out at home enjoying the extra hours of sunshine and glorious warm summer Canberra evenings?

If you’re the latter, we’ve totally got you covered during the summer holidays.

At a time when a lot of local venues are closed, or operating on shorter hours, The RUC is open its usual hours every single day except Christmas day (we need to fit in some family time too!)

And as a bonus, all our cool regular events are happening right the way through the summer holidays – so that’s our weekly Meat Raffles every Friday from 5 – 7pm, and Trivia on Thursdays from 7pm.

We’re also a great option for eating out over the holidays when you just don’t feel like cooking –  with our regular $10 seafood on Mondays, $10 schnitty on Tuesdays, and $15 burgers on Wednesdays, all from 5pm. Tasty.

If it’s a great summer celebration you’re after, head in to The RUC on New Years Eve. As this year falls on a Sunday, you can enjoy our BBBB – that’s burgers, bowls, beers or bubbles for just $30 per person. Grab some mates and see in the new year enjoying barefoot bowls.

And to celebrate all things Aussie, head in on Australia Day to enjoy $4 Coopers Schooners. Cheers to summer!
